BonBon, Swedish candy in NYC
Swedish candy company BonBon has become a huge success in New York, offering a wide range of pick-and-mix candy in nice locations. Last year BonBon opened a third store on the Upper East Side and introduced its own line of gummy Swedish fish.
BonBon’s stores are filled with chocolate, licorice and other candies that are imported directly from Sweden. Here, customers are welcome to grab a scoop and fill a pink bag with their favourite sweets.
BonBon opened its first store on the Lower East Side in 2018, followed with a store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and then opened a third store on the Upper East Side last year. In addition to the physical stores, the candy is also available online.
In 2023 BonBon introduced a line of Swedish fish candies in five flavours: Sour Wild Strawberry, Sweet Wild Strawberry, Sour Elderflower, Sour Blackberry and Sour Peach. What’s more, the candy is vegan and gluten-free, made with real sugar, free of GMO’s, has no trans fats and is made with natural colorants!
Founders Selim Adira, Bobby Persson and Leo Schaltz are passionate about the Swedish candy culture. In addition to the regular candy you can find seasonal specials in the stores and online. Right now BonBon offers Easter Eggs, candy coated chocolate eggs, Easter marshmallows, and much more.
